Mercuryo is looking for a Sales Associate who will be based at its London office and reporting to Head of Sales. This individual will be responsible for scaling business development in the region, identifying and building new commercial channels and meeting personal and team targets to grow the business.Ideally we would aim for a person with relevant sales experience in payment industry, market insights and clear understanding how and throughout what he would be looking for a leads and what is product to sell. 


Responsibilities

  • Manage a personal target in excess of £1M per Q and a sales pipeline of 6X target (i.e. £6M)
  • Sales strategy inc. lead generation, channel strategy and marketing support appropriate to support the pipeline target
  • Creating a scalable business development model and methodology
  • Regular reporting of sales pipeline, activities and contact points via tools such as SalesForce
  • Customer lifecycle management - from prospect into repeat buyer
  • Partner strategy
  • Pitch presentations and associated pitch books
  • Represent the company in events, conferences etc.
  • Onboarding new sales team members

Requirements


  • Sales track record in the FinTech, Payments, Digital Banking space using tools Salesforce / AMO CRM, Jira, Notion, Slack, Zoom, LinkedIn, Telegram 
  • Past evidence of meeting/exceeding a personal target of £1M per annum
  • Rounded set of sales skills inc. opportunity sourcing, credentialising, qualification, deal closing, pipeline management & reporting
  •  Experience in negotiating and closing deals with C-levels
  • Experience in payments and B2b sales 
  • Ability to sell complex financial/digital/fintech products or services
  • Able to demonstrable success in recent role roles e.g. staying in a company 2 years+ able to show career growth and/or promotion track
  • Able to provide strong/credible references from previous employer
  • The standard pre-requisites: Strong communication and presentation skills
